Scattered rain expected over north Luzon areas – PAGASA

Published February 11, 2018 4:52am The Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Regions could expect cloudy conditions with scattered rain due to the northeast monsoon, weather service PAGASA reported in a Sunday morning forecast.

The northeast monsoon would also bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rain over Ilocos Region, with the rest of the country expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be strong to gale force from the northeast over northern Luzon, where coastal waters would be rough to very rough.

Over the rest of Luzon, and the eastern sections of the Visayas and of Mindanao, winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast to north, with moderate to rough seas.

Winds over the rest of the country would be light to moderate from the north to northwest with light to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
