At 3:00 AM today, the eye ofTyphoon "PAOLO"was located based on all available data at 870km East of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan (17.9N, 129.9E)with maximum sustained winds of130 km/hnear the center and gustiness of up to160 km/h.It is forecast to moveNorth at 15 km/h.Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA)was estimated based on all available data at 135 km West of Coron, Palawan (11.9N, 119.0E).

 

 

FORECAST WEATHER CONDITIONS

Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, and Caraga will have Cloudy skies withscattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms caused by typhoon Paolo. There will be Possible moderate to heavy rains which may cause serious flooding/landslides, strong winds and lightning.

 

 

Metro Manila, rest of Mindanao, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON wil have Cloudy skies withscattered rains and thunderstorms. Caused by typhoon Paolo. There will be Possible light to moderate with occasionally heavy rains which may cause flooding/landslides, strong winds and lightning.

 

Rest of Luzon will have Partly cloudy to cloudy skies isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening caused by Localized thunderstorms. There will be Possible isolated lightning, strong winds and occasional heavy rains and flashfloods.
